I fixed English materials.

For two years starting four years ago, during the coronavirus pandemic, I was able to do a little qigong in English at the Kyoto International Community House. Since the end of last year, I have advertised in an English-language magazine in Kyoto, seeking a wide range of participants.

It has been exactly 30 years since I started qigong and I remember how interesting it was to teach qigong to my family and friends from abroad in the early days. In 1997, when the Second World Qigong Review Conference was held in San Francisco, I attended the late Dr. Michiko Iwami's presentation of “Qigong Walking,” and learned that people overseas were also very enthusiastic about qigong at that time. I also fondly remember that I often visited the Beijing headquarters of Dr. Wan Su Jian for training, where I was always able to meet with training groups from overseas and interact with them.

I hope to continue to deepen the practice of qigong, an East Asian indigenous, self and other-friendly, easy-to-use method of physical and mental health and longevity, together with various people.  A 90-minute session at the townhouseYushi-an will begin with an introduction to the Kyoto townhouse, followed by an overview of qigong, a preparatory self massage, and "washing the marrow," "five-element palm," and "meditation" based on the Yin Yang and Five Elements philosophy, according to participants' wishes.
